Alright, it’s been a while since I posted any news. Things are going slowly these days as more and more members are falling to the inactive side. I don’t blame them since the server will be wiped anyway. In fact, I’ll be shifting towards inactive mode soon because my major school projects are coming.

But for those who are still playing, I’m sure you would have heard of the exp boost that the GE Team will be adding:

Great news GE fans! We will be boosting XP rates by TWO times tomorrow, 8 March 2007! This 2X boost in XP will last all the way till 15 March 2007.

On 15 March 2007, XP will be further boosted to THREE times as much! This will last all the way till the end of CBT.

Enjoy the gift and use it to get everything you can out of the game!

Have fun grinding your way to the top, oh and also let’s congrat Cage for being the first to hit level 100.

Alright, to vent out all the hate, let’s have another round of war.

I’ve randomly selected a faction, and this time it’s PCQuest a lvl2 faction and they have 52 memebers. I’m sure they won’t disband and run away like Infamous, so happy warring.

Bring pots and put your pvp chars out people, it’s time to be the hunter or the hunted.

Okay peeps, bad news. Firstly, I’ve injured my right wrist and it hurts when I use my mouse so I might be out of action. But still I want everyone to participate in this event if they can. Exupery, if I’m not online it means I’m dead on my bed because I just got home (10am now) so you are free to log my account and run the show on my behalf.

Luciora has proposed that we have a guild outing together for all Singaporean (heck, if u want to travel down to Singapore for this, you are welcomed too) Yakisoba members.

I think this is a very good idea since Yakisoba is not going to be just a flash in the pan guild. We are going all out and we intend to look for serious and dedicated members. Having a guild outing, perhaps to dinner is a good way to get to know each other better.

I’ve set aside 2 dates: Either the 10th (Sat) or 11th (Sun) of March.

Time and location is not confirmed yet, but I would like to get a fast confirmation on the number of members who will be able to turn up on that day so I can make further arrangement.

For those who have not heard about it yet, the GMs are finally organizing an event:

Get an edge during CBT by finding and killing mid-level Hill Giants. These mean, green monsters roam Ferruccio Junction, the Cathari Falls, King’s Garden, Tetra Hill and the Tetra Great Ruins.

At 2p.m. SGT (GMT +8), the Hill Giants will come out to hunt. When the Hill Giants spawn in these areas, be sure to kill them! Three of the Hill Giants will unlock access to a special coupon after they have been killed. Once all three coupons have been found, the lucky players can redeem their coupons for a random equipment, 1 NPC Card, and early access to coming OBT!

There’s some discussion going on here on our own forums on what to how to deal with it, so go ahead and participate. I’m sure most of you are starting to feel the burn out and also the lack of motivation to grind anymore since the server is going to be wiped, but the event reward is worth it because of its OBT benefits.

2 short news, nothing earthshaking but here goes.

1. Yakisoba membership is now closed. We have enough members for now and we don’t see a need to expand as of now. Anymore members inside and it’s going to be impossible to read the faction chatbox, hahah.

2. For all Yakisoba members, the forum has been updated with 2 new sections, kindly use them accordingly. Also for Yakisoba members who have registered and not been validated, please leave a message here so I can validate you. For those who have not registered, kindly do so now.

Also, please be reminded that there is a guild photoshoot at 8pm (GMT +8) today at Cite de Reboldouex fountain area Channel 1, followed by our guild’s FFA 15 vs 15 PVP event at 9pm. I hope everyone can try to make the effort to turn up for the shoot and event.

We will even throw in a celebration for Voyage! Remember to buy him a present: A microphone!
