More Yakisoba annoucements

More catherine ownerships! The dolls are getting resurrected like nobody’s business! Congrats to Hellsing and Voyage for getting her! Bernelli, our resident Grace fan, has taken a slightly different route- He went STR Catherine! Congrats to him for being the first STR Catherine owner!

Also, big shoutouts to Hellsing and Kuchiki for hunting our first Level 72 LoE bracelet. As part of the giving spirit of Yakisoba, the first member to have a Level 72 warlock wins this bracelet. Let the sleepless night grinding begin!

We’ll hunt more bracelets for the other warlock owners, so don’t worry fret too much about it. However, this time on we will give priority to players who have contributed the most to the guild.

Also, tomorrow marks our Recruit Promotion Day, so all recruits are expected to post their levels here, and your levelling speed will be assessed.

Yakisoba News

Just a couple of updates. Yakisoba’s entry requirement has been increased to Level 48. We will increase this to 52 some time next week, depending on the overall levelling speed of the guild. The requirement for girls has been upped to Level 40, this probably won’t change for a while.

We’ve got quite a number of new recruits now. Hopefully they will settle in nicely, so everyone please be nice to them.

Also, mad props to Hellsing, Kuchiki and rei for hitting Level 7x. These guys are insane! Somebody stop them! As for the other Yakisoba members who are hitting the Level 6x region, all the best with your new found vunerability- Baron mode enabled!

EDIT: I almost forget to mention this, but congrats to Lionheartz for being the first Catherine owner! All the best in levelling up that killer doll machine!

This coming Monday will also be promotion day for some of our recruits. All recruits are kindly urged to post their levels here, so that we can assess your levelling speed. Do note that you will need to register for an account first to be able to see and post in this board.

As for the other Yakisoba members, all the best in your levelling. Do continue to update your levels here. Cervantes’s first Colony war is drawing close, and every level counts. We have no intention of expanding in large numbers, so your levels are important. Do note that your GVG Captain RavaNa, will be organizing GVG trainings next week onwards. The dates can be found here, so please check it out. All members are highly encouraged to attend these training sessions.

RavaNa has also requested that members engage each other in duels to practice and sharpen your MCC controlling ability. Try to get someone within your level and duke it out. If you need tips, you can always consult him, Voyage or even Grimmway.

The Guild bank and point system is almost finalized. I will be listing out the full version of it soon. The point system blue print has been heavily discussed between Vice leader Crimzama, Raid Captains chii and Defrance, as well as myself, and I daresay it’s truly a very feasible system.

That will be all for now. Happy grinding everyone!

Yakisoba updates

All members are reminded to post their levels on this thread here. We need to track everyone’s progress so we can gauge the overall guild level. Please edit and update your post on a daily basis, and I would appreciate it if you leave a
“last update date” on it too.

Recruits who are not allowed into the forums, you may post your levels here on the new Recruit Den. You have to register for an account first before you can see it and you can post in it without getting validated. Work hard and you will be promoted to a full Yakisoba member.

Yakisoba entry requirement increased

Greetings,

Yakisoba has increased the level requirement to Level 45. This is because the average level range in the guild has increased. Our highest member stands at Level 60 now. Interested players are required to have all 3 characters at level 45, and nothing less.

Female gamers interested in joining Yakisoba are also now expected to have at least 30 levels. This is because we have been receiving too many level 10 requests. We are expecting our female counterpart to be active gamers at least.

Please understand that Yakisoba believes firmly in quality and not quantity, thus the evergrowing level requirement. For those who still want to be part of this family, fret not. Grind hard, and you will see fruits in it.

EDIT:
The registration counter over at our forums now accept applications without the need to register. Please leave your details there and you will be contacted in game shortly.

After much consideration, Lisa’s Cafe board is removed from the public eye. Recruits will have no access to the inner forums whatsoever until they are confirmed.

Yakisoba Raid!

Hello people! Yakisoba started our raids on Dungeons bosses last night and we went around taking down all the bosses within our levels. I’ve got loads of screenshots to post, but I figured out that posting a video be waaay much better.

yakiradisisdsd.jpg

So here’s the video to one of our raids, a level 50 Chimera at the Porto Bello Dungeon. Many thanks to chii for uploading it. (But damn, the english voices really suck. jGE voices ftw!)

Click here to watch it. chii will also be uploading more of our raid videos here, so do check it out at:

Yakisoba’s Recruiting!

Aye! The day of reckoning is here!

Yakisoba is now recruiting players who are level 40 and above. There is a recruitment fee of 5,000 vis. Kindly pm Tsubaki if interested. Do not bother if you do not make the requirement.

For females who are interested in joining us, we do expect you do be at least decently levelled first before joining us. You must be active as well. Do keep in mind that you are required to pay 5,000 vis as well.

Yakisoba Promotions.

I have personally picked a few members whom I feel have the ability to lead Yakisoba in their respective roles, and I will proudly introduce them. These people are your new Vice leader and Squad Captains:

Vice Faction Leader:
Crimzama

Role: Assist faction leader in updating faction site, forums and warchest and point system. Has access to guild bank account.

The Vice Faction leader has to be extremely trust worthy, and I must say that I can even trust Crimz with my life. We have been playing many MMORPGs together for close to 5 years and he is very capable.

GVG Squad Captains:
RavaNa
Voyage

Role: Form parties for GVGs and lead members accordingly. Communicates with Faction leader on which Colony to conquer.

This doesn’t come as a suprise for many. Yakisoba’s deadiest PVPers have a lot of experience in fighting. They are still a little raw on the edge for GVG, but they are being currently being trained by a jGE GVG vetran.

Raid Squad Captains:
chii (also plays Vinch)
Defrance

Role: Organize guild raids on bosses. Forms parties with members and collects all Boss raid loots after defeating them. Submits all items to either Faction leader or Vice for recording, which will then be loaned out to members.

While these two members have been relatively new to Yakisoba, they have proved their worth with their wealth of experience in Boss Raids in jGE/kGE. chii is also responsible for suggesting the point system which will greatly benefit the Yakisoba. Ultimately, we want to equip all our members with the best equipments out there, and these Raid Captains will help.

I would also like members to understudy these leaders, as we will need more GvG/Raid Captains as Yakisoba grows. I also need more foreign Raid Captains so that we maty be able to organize round the clock raids.

And also, future Squad Captains will be nominated and elected by members instead. So contribute more to the guild and prove your mettle to your peers!

Also, the following recruits have been promoted to Members:
bao
cara
DaVinci
Grimmway
Lionheartz
JaniceWong
Keiko
Nuub
Renji
Valkrice
Xobile

Let’s congratulate all of these people!

Major internal guild reshuffle

The hierachy system will be reshuffled, after recieving imputs regards raids from our GE Sages (Lol). The old system is too rigid is will not help at all. I’ve chosen to adopt a more flexible system to boost up our effectiveness. I must admit that raids were not entirely considered when I first planned out the original hierachy system.

The new Yakisoba system will be like this:

Squad captains will no longer have a permanent squad. Instead I will employ Captains specializing in Raids or GvGs. They will have the power to organize squads and will lead the members in their way. This way, the most strongest members will be made avaliable to these Captains, instead of the older squad layout where they might be stuck with members that are of lower levels (and thus not useful to them in GvG or Raids).

Also, we will be introducing a point system for guild raids. It is currently being discussed here on the forum, and members might want to have a glimpse of what is installed for you. This point system will allow members to have priority to raid items based on their contribution to the guild. The more you contribute to the guild, the more the guild returns to you.

Thus in light of this, I’ll be resetting all Senior members back to members. Senior members should be players with high level of contribution to the guild, not because they were part of Yakisoba in CBT. However, I have no intention of downplaying these CBT members’ loyalty. You will be given points for being part of Yakisoba CBT, afterall, it is you guys that made Yakisoba who we are today. I’m still working out the little details needed for this, so hang on for now.

For our first batch of Captains, I will pick them based on their skills and experience. I have been observing everyone for a while and I will speak to you personally and ask if you want this position. Squad Captains need to be dedicated to their position. It’s not just a simple title to flaunt around, since they will be working very closely with me. Do note that only first batch of leaders will be pick like this. When the guild expands, new leaders will be elected via voting.

After much discussion with some members, Recruits will no longer be allowed access to the inner forums until they are confirmed as members. This is to prevent guild information from being leaking out. We take our guild secrets and our privacy very seriously, especially what has happened recently. Thus, Lisa’s Cafe forum will be shifted out to the lobby section where recruits will be able to communicate with the other members on it.

That’s it for now. I will be posting the news of the confirmed Captains as soon as I have spoken to them all.

Yakisoba Guild Notice

Alrighty, here’s a couple of notices for Yakisoba members. The goddamn in-game faction notice isn’t working so that why I have to resort to posting it here. Gah.

Firstly, those who have yet to pay your 5,000 vis to me, please do so before Sunday. I really hate chasing for money, so you better take the initiative to come to me. Oh and if you can, please chip in some extra donations. We’ll need some more money to expand the guild.

Our faction level currently level 31, but I do hope to be able to increase it to 51 so we can have access to the other guild features.

Also this Sunday, I’ll be creating a thread in our forum and I will need everyone to report their current levels. So for those who have not gotten a forum account yet, please register for it now.

As for this Sunday’s recruitment, I’ll post our latest requirements by Saturday. There might be some changes.

Yakisoba Recruitment updates

Just a light update on what’s happening in Yakisoba.

After adding in some old CBT members, some new talents and a handful of females (who I must say, are impressive gamers), we have ballooned to 46 members. Yakisoba is in no hurry to expand the guild at the moment, so our planned recruitment on the 20th might changed a little.

Most of the our members with ppOBT passes are deep in Jezebel now, and I dare say we’ll be moving out of that place tomorrow. There’s definitely going to be a huge gap between those that started on the 17th and those on the 15th, and all I can say is that we’ll only be picking the best from the 17th to join our ranks.

I know this is disappointing to hear for those who really want to be part of the Yakisoba family, but fret not- There will be another opening soon. Just train hard, and introduce yourself on our IRC channel. There are already some people who have joined us even before the 20th because they have taken the initative to introduce themselves to us and have left us a very good impression.

However, Pm-ing me in the game won’t impress me at all. I’m constantly levelling and last thing I need is to die while trying to reply. I’ve stop replying to people these days because Porto Dungeon’s just too dangerous, so just leave your pm on the IRC instead. I’ll reply once I’m resting or something.

And I want to apologise to those that I have not replied to. I hope you’ll understand. =)
