I just want to thank all members who took time and the effort to come down for yesterday’s BBQ gathering. It was a truly enjoyable gathering and not to mention that it was held on a really special date- 070707. While it’s unfortunate that we had to forgo Colony War, I daresay on behalf on everyone that was there that our BBQ owned Colony War so much.

Every gathering we organize, the numbers get larger and the bonds grow stronger. I believe we’re already grown from a mere gaming faction, to a real family of gamers. I really hope everyone enjoyed yourself yesterday, because I sure did. Hopefully as Yakisoba grows, we will be able to draw more people into our very tight knitted family. If our members can travel all the way from Penang down to Singapore just for the BBQ, it really says a lot about us. I hope our malaysian Yakisoba members enjoyed themselves here.

And for those who couldn’t join us, it’s such a bloody waste! Cara brought such a hot girl to the BBQ today and you didn’t get to meet her! HAH. =p

Congrats to Testarossa for being the 10th level 100! This makes him our 3rd level 100 Catherines owner. Solo cCatherines aren’t considered in this list until they have another 2 more level 100s characters (that is why Salty isn’t on it ._.).

Yakisoba’s Baron King RavaNa and our oldest (but no wisest,lol) member Zin has become the 8th and 9th member to hit level 100. A double whammy for today.

It’s going to be a crazy week since everyone’s already in the 9x region. It’s a matter of time everyone’s going to hit Level 100 too. Anyway, a big congratulation to the both of them. Now it’s time to grind more new characters! Muhahaha.

I’ve just been informed that there someone has been going around other faction blogs posting hate messages and trash talk using Yakisoba’s name. Let me reinforce the fact that we do not scoop down to this kind of lowness. To the person impersonating us, please stop doing so.

IAH just announced that they would be reinstating Colony War again, and the new dates are as followed:

7 July 2007, Saturday, 2000hrs-2200hrs (GMT+8)
8 July 2007, Sunday, 2000hrs-2200hrs (GMT+8)
The colonies will be reset on 9 July 2007, Monday, 1000hrs (GMT+8)

However, we have come to realized that the war clashes with our guild’s BBQ gathering on the 7th of July. This is a major blow to us (another IAH conspiracy! Lol, just kidding) since we won’t be able to attend this upcoming war. Trial or not, we always take our wars seriously.

While I do know that we will lose quite an edge if we start only on the 8th, we will proceed as usual for our BBQ gathering- the place has been booked and much things have been prepared. I will be updating details on the location and pit on our forums soon, so do check it later when I get home from work tonight.

On a side note, do prepare some additional cash. I might be able to draw something out of my sleeves. Cheers.

News just got in. SEVEN just hit the lvl 100 mark.

I think SEVEN’s very very happy, since he’s the 7th member to hit lvl 100. He’s been forcing cara all week long to become the 6th so he can take the 7th spot. No guessing what’s his favorite number is, hahaha. Anyway, let’s congrats to our youngest member (chibi nana!) for hitting lvl 100! You’re an inspiration to everyone (especially those slow levelling old men).

And I think you can stop making that D: face. XD

Big shoutout to cara for hitting Lvl 100 and becoming Yakisoba’s 6th lvl 100 player. If anyone notices, we don’t really have a lot of lvl 100 players.

It’s not really a big thing now since there’s a growing amount of Lvl 100s in the server, but still, let’s congrats him for enduring the painful grind up to the top. Especially since he doesn’t rely on characters like Catherine or Jack to break the lack of 9x weapons/armor issue. Cheers!

Yakisoba is a lvl 51 faction with 71 members, with an active rate of 50 members on at a time. We have a core of dedicated, experienced and very goal driven players and we strive to be the best at everything we do, as well as have fun together as a family.

Most of our players hail from Singapore and Malaysia, but we do have a number of international players. We also organize monthly gatherings in Singapore where members get to meet and talk to each other in real life, fostering a stronger bond with each other in not just the virtual world, but in reality too.

As a result of Yakisoba’s culture, we have produced many titles and achievements under our belts, ranging from bagging the 1st and 2nd prize award at the recent Granado Espada Zouk PVP Competition, to being the first faction to achieve level 51 status and to being the only faction in the whole of GE to conquer 10 colonies.

We have rules and regulations that each members are expected to uphold. Despite being a very competitive faction, we practice a very open policy of sharing and distributing items within the guild. Members help each other grow to become even better players.

And right now, we are opening our doors again to accept a small limited number of players to join us. Players with at least Lvl 84 main characters are welcomed to apply for Yakisoba. Before you decide to choose to join us, take some time and read about us and understand how we work.

If you think you have what it takes to be a Yakisoba member, please leave your application on our forum here. We do not accept requests via PMs.

When your application has been accepted, you will be contacted in game will be recruited into Yakisoba as a Recruit. Recruits do not have special privileges and have no access to the guild’s forum. You will be observed and if we feel that you do not have what it takes, you will be asked to leave.

Once we feel that you are ready, you will be promoted to being a Member and you will share the same rights that every Yakisoba member has.

I’ve written out a series of policies that Yakisoba will uphold and have created a special forum for it here. All members are expected to read and abide by these rules. The last thing I would want would be conflicts between members due to the lack of understanding of how Yakisoba works, so please use these policies to come to a conclusive direction.

I will be revising these policies for the next week or so, and as soon as we have set them in stone, it will be published on our faction site. During this time, all members feedback on these policies will be greatly appreciated.
