It’s been a while since we opened our recruitment drive and since then we’ve welcomed a number of new players into our family. And we have been observing these new players, from how they treat other members to their activeness in participating in boss raids to even simple things like conversing with the other members.

I’m pleased to say that some of these players have met our expectations, and as a sign of our trust, the following recruits have been promoted:

Voyage has informed me awhile ago that he has decided to step down from being a Squad Caption due to personal reasons. His squad will be managed by Crimzama until we can find a suitable candidate.

I’ve also decided to remove the need for Raid Captains, since most Captains, and even active members are calling for members up for raids, thus reducing the need to rely on RCs.

Members are also reminded that after 10 days of inactiveness, you will be removed from the faction unless you inform either me or Crimzama about your absence. If you’re going to take a break, go for a holiday, etc, the least decent thing you can do is to let everyone know. If you disappear suddenly, we’ll assume that you have quit the game.

Congrats to Majere for becoming the 18th Yakisoba member to hit Lvl 100! He can finally patrol the whole of Granado Espada as a policeman now, with his hot police girls. And yes, Majere’s a real full time policeman.

So don’t fuck with him, or you’ll get arrested! Lol.

IAH threw yet another surprise Colony War yesterday, something that everyone is starting to get tired about. We’ll get the annoucement for Colony War 30 minutes before the war starts and then have to start mobilizing everyone down for war. This war again, took us by surprise and I had to send a mass sms to all Yakisoba members to inform about the war. It’s practically like reservist call up and all members were summoned back from the real world back into Granado Espada.

We already had 8 colonies from the previous war, so we could choose to either defend, or expand. No guess to which path we chose. Presenting the Map of Cervantes:

17 Colonies. Could have been 19 Colonies if we didn’t lose Deserted Quay to Cloudnine’s Orb breakers and ran out of time at Old Port of Combria’s orb. OC’s orb was down to 2%, it was such a waste. But still, we had a lot of fun and we were really testing our limits, to see how far we can go.

It’s really awesome to see Yakisoba plastered almost all over the map and it certainly was thrilling for me. On top of that, it was my birthday and the timing couldn’t get any better. Contrary to what most people think, I did not wish for the entire map to belong to us. I just wanted to see how much we can push ourselves, aggressively attacking and defending at the same time. And it seems like we’re able to juggle them pretty well.

A couple of interesting points during the war- Dominion was surprisingly silent. They were nowhere to be seen, and the only time we established combat with them was at Tetra Hills. GoD and CARNAGE on the other hand, were very aggressive in defending their territory. It was definitely very fun to fight with them, and I would say CARNAGE certainly gave us a run for our money.

Also, I think it’s necessary to clear up the misconception that having 17 colonies do not give us a monstrous amount of HP. There’s a cap of 65% MHP, and that’s capped to 10 colonies. So to those people broad-ing that we have like 2142452895% HP boost, stop scaring people.

We’re… not that scary. I think.

Another 2 more members joined our Lvl 100s! Takeshi takes the 16th place on the Yakisoba Lvl 100 table, and Valkrice trails narrowly with a 17th. Congrats to the both of them. I’m really happy to see so many of our members hitting Lvl 100 legitimately, and that’s something we can really boast about- We don’t use bots.

There’s been a major bot crackdown by the GMs on Lvl 100 players who bot in Cervantes and this has caused a lot of factions to lose their “top players”. We didn’t even have to break a single sweat since we’ve always been the mad human grinders that everyone hates. Lol.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROAD FLOOD DETECTED!

Lol, I want to thank everyone for your warm wishes. I really appreciate it. Thanks for making my 20th birthday so memorable. Heh, and thank you all for the nice gifts. Now down to the guild related news. Plenty of good news today, and I must say it’s totally awesome, it’s almost like a gift from everyone in Yakisoba to me.

Firstly, our emblem is finally up on the server. Press Alt-T and you will be able to see our hot Yakisoba Fairy of Death. Just in case some of you don’t know how this emblem came about, the stock image was provided by our dear Hera-chan and I photoshopped it to give it the color.

Unfortunately for some reason, the transparent 255 0 255 layer doesn’t seem to work in Granado Esapda and I’ve to use black instead. This has caused some of the details to be lost, which is rather unfortunate, but I’ll fix it in due time (once I’m not grinding, lol).

Next, IAH DID IT AGAIN. They sprung up another “Ad-Hoc Trial Colony War Test” again. I daresay they actually forgot to switch it off. This is the second time already, and this time we were totally not prepared for it. We only were able to recall 24 members for this war, but we did pretty well considering the situation.

I believe some other factions have it worst with their leaders not being online (a lot of people were out watching Harry Potter! Lol) so it was a crippled trial between all the factions. We managed to get 8 colonies with just 2 squads, and I think it’s fantastic job. Well done Yakisoba!

We’ve also been raiding the more big ass bosses in Granado Espada. We can nail a couple of them easily now because of our stockpile of guild raid weapons and equipments. We have over a 100 items worth of 92 equipments and above and members have full access to borrowing these equipments. But unfortunately, we’re still far from being able to raid this bastard here:

Vergo, otherwise more commonly known as Shiyapen. He’s minions are a complete pain in the ass and there are 3 minions that he has that can never be lured away from him. Bastard. We’ll be back as soon as we get better gears for everyone.

Congrats to both LoK and Luciora for being the 14th and 15th member to hit lvl 100 respectively!

Welcome to the lvl 100 gang! LoK actually grinded 102 levels since he was delevelled a while ago by… we all know who. So much for being accused a botter when he was just AFK-ing. As for Luciora, he’s a darkhorse. He was among the lowest levels a month back and was on the verge of quitting GE, but look at him now- all dirty and dusty from the sand in Skullic Dungeon.

Anyway, a big shout out to these guys. I’m expecting more to hit the cap soon and it’s going be soon that we’ll be filled with loads of Lvl 100 players.

Congrats to nuub for being the 13th member to hit lvl 100! Welcome to the lvl 100 gang! And here’s my stick. Time to beat!

Congrats to Kazel for hitting Level 100 a couple of days back (he didn’t even announce it). Someone beat him with a stick!

Okay, I’m finding it hard find words for members hitting 100, so I’ll stick with a standard format from now on. Everyone gets beaten by mah stick! Lol.

Note to all members, the old raid item list has been removed and replace by 2 new list, this time separating them by weapons and armor types instead of the usual boss list. I’ve painstakingly finished it, so please take a good look at it. I think it’s much easier on the eye now to borrow guild items.

Currently we have 36 weapons and 6 armors left in the bank for loan. To borrow raid items, kindly pm me your request and I will decide whether to release it to you or not.

Do note that members who raid often will get priority over newer items. Also, do note that we have a limit of two raid items per member at the moment. Once the bank has grown to a considerable amount of weapons, we will remove that limit. So start participating in more of our big boss raids. Cheers.

Yesterday’s war was incredibly challenging. Since we weren’t unable to participate in the trial war on Saturday due to our BBQ gathering, we had start off with nothing and slowly conquer our way up.

And the result? 5 colonies.

I think we have done very well, considering how we had only 40 active members for the war, and zero allies. The Dominion-GoD-Carnage alliance certainly makes things very tricky for us. Nevertheless, it was a great experience for all of us and we certainly had a lot of fun. No hard feelings ya? =D

Inside the Lvl 52 faction mission

After the war, we also decided to try the Lvl 52 faction quest. With just an extra 40% hp boost, we completed the Lvl 52 faction quest in one take by ourselves. It was surprisingly easy- wished we did it earlier.

We blame Grimmway for telling us that it’s a super difficult quest to attempt. It’s his fault! Lol. The next time he tells us that something is difficult, we should take it with a pinch of salt.

Anyway, great job everyone! I’m very proud of each and everyone of you. Yakisoba is growing very well as a family, and I don’t think anyone can find a more bonded faction than us.
