Congrats to hIrOkI, our resident Ah beng pker for hitting level 100. As everyone know, hIrO was one of last few members who started playing Granado Espada, but he’s an insane grinder who overtook everyone, including myself. We need more grinders like him. He’s probably on the same drugs that Hellsing and Kuchiki uses.

Two insanely big news today. Firstly, IAHgames spring up a rather sudden Colony War on everyone, despite announcing that they would be suspending Colony War.

We were totally not prepared for this war, but we were able to get everyone into their squads and take their positions within 30 minutes. As soon as the war started, we did our best and we took as many as maps as we could with just less than 50 active members online.

And the result after this colony war:

We broke last week’s record of 8 colonies by bagging 10 colonies! I’m totally blown away by our performance, a fantastic job to all Captains and their squads! We have achieved our targeted goal and our reward- A sweet 65% HP boost to all Yakisoba members.

After the war, we decided to take full advantage of the extra hp boost and attempted the second part of the Lvl 51 faction quest. The second part of this mission is very very difficult and it makes slaying the Great Hill Giant look like child’s play. The 2nd part only allowed 30 Yakisoba members to participate.

Now this second part demands a lot of teamwork and coordination. Lots of instructions flying about Teamspeak and the guild chat, a lot of waiting and then followed by 2 insanely difficult bosses to kill.

Also, Yakisoba would like to thank the following members for participating in this successful mission: (In no order of merit) Sedai, Renji, Testarossa, Sabre, Ubiquitous, Hellsing, Mois, ahcongie, RavaNa, Crimzama, Grimmway, SEVEN, Mina, Lionheartz, Melteacohey, JaniceWong, LoK, Tsubaki, hIrOkI, Zin, Kuchiki, Defrance, Takeshi, Salty, Kazel, Keitaro, Ooyuki and cara.

If not for these Ladies and Goons, we would not have been able to complete this mission successfully. And having said that, we are also proud to announce that we are the first faction in sgGE to hit level 51! All our members have received a sweet +1 level to their family level, and Tsubaki gets a niffy aura:

Everyone in Yakisoba thinks that the aura looks like a float and Tsubaki looks like he’s going swimming. Hell, this aura certainly marks our biggest and greatest achievement so far as a family and every Yakisoba member deserves a big pat in the back.

Straight from IAHgames‘s mouth:

We have temporarily suspended the Colony War schedule until further notice. This is to allow us to conduct more Colony War bug fixing and testing. Opening up the Colony War prematurely will allow factions to gain an unfair advantage over the rest and the results are usually irreversible. In order to maintain a strong and healthy game balance, we have to do what we have to do.

I guess our bored members can only do nothing but baron now. So much for drafting up plans and hosting  daily trainings. It smells like they’re trying to say “This is to prevent Yakisoba from becoming too strong“. Hahah, just kidding.

Anyway, our training sessions will proceed as usual until the bugs have been fixed. Happy grinding everyone.

Just a couple of news and reminders to start of the new week.

First off, we are no longer in a NAP agreement with GoD. There’s been too many skirmishes going on lately between the two factions, and I think it’s impossible for us to maintain the peace both Nobility and myself hope to achieve. Both of us has agreed to leave this agreement peacefully, with no hard feelings. While this agreement is gone, I do hope our fellow member will practice some level of restrain.

Secondly, GVG trainings are back again, after a 4 day hiatus due to the upcoming Zouk Raid party preparation and such. It’s the same deal, 10pm to 11pm at Auch chan 3, this time for our Level 7x and 8x. Attendence is compulsory, as usual. Also please make use of the Teamspeak.

Lastly, it has come to my attention that we have members with rather un-family-like attitudes towards other guild members. I will not tolerate people who are selfish and insist on making a quick buck of another member. Let me make it officially clear today, that if a member behaves in a selfish and greedy attitude, I will expel you from Yakisoba. We don’t need people like you. Each and every member in Yakisoba is to share and help each other like a family. This is my final warning.

Firstly, let’s all congrats cara and nuub for winning first place in the GE raid party PVP competition! (Bastards each won a powerful desktop computer + 17″ LCD monitor) Also, the first runner up was bagged by RavaNa and Voyage (They won some retarded things- a skype phone and a webcam LOL). Anyway, Yakisoba bags 1st and 2nd place in the 1st ever Granado Espada SEA PVP tourney by completely bulldozing everyone with straight wins (including myself and Grimmway >.>) Guys, you’ve done us proud! The match between cara/nuub vs RavaNa/Voyage at the finals was completely insane. But it was quite relaxing the 4 Yakisoba members to go head on with each other, since we’ve been doing this for ages already.

Oh and if you want to know why RavaNa/Voyage lost, please poke fun at RavaNa for forgetting to equip his LoE bracelet. This is going to be a running joke in Yakisoba forever, and it will eventually become a legend for all members. Hahaha.

Also, I want to thank the 26 Yakisoba members that turned for the the Zouk Raid Party. The number far surpasses what I was expecting and I’m very proud of you guys to take the effort to come down despite the rain (Well, I bet your intentions are just probably wanting to buy the boxset… but that’s beside the point =x). It’s been really great meeting all of you, and I’m sure everyone has grown more closer to each other (anyone try to get to close to Aelesia, I’d kill ya).

The guild steamboat dinner at Marina South was really fun too, and I’m pretty sure we gave our Malaysian Yakisoba members a moment they won’t forget. Damn, I’m already missing those 4 goons already! Rest assured, we’ll be organizing more of such guild gatherings, and we are trying to make it into a monthly affair. So for those who were unable to turn up yesterday, fret not, there will be more of such chances.

Another big shoutout to rei for hitting Lvl 100! That makes him the 4th lvl 100 Yakisoba member. rei could have hit a 100 a lot more earlier if he wasn’t such pk lover. Hahaha. But well, it’s cool. We’ll be on scythedeath’s ass once they fix our war declaration bug.

Once again, a reminder for all members who will be attending the Zouk Raid Party this Saturday to confirm here. Lionheartz will be in charged of assembling everyone at Clarke Quay MRT station (at 1.30pm) before storming off (at 1.45pm) to break the beacon at Zouk. Please leave your mobile number with him. Don’t worry, he won’t send you lewd messages at night. I think.

Also, let’s wish the following Yakisoba members who will be competing in the PVP tourney good hunting: RavaNa, Voyage, Grimmway and Tsubaki from the Singapore side, and Crimzama, Sabre, cara and Nuub from the Malaysian side. The tourney’s flooded with Yakisoba members, but I don’t think everyone should be surprised at it. We aren’t a competitive guild for nothing.

But still I think the real fun is going to be our steamboat dinner at night. We gonna be dining with the Yakisoba chicks! Woo! Oh and make sure you have enough money to buy the boxset as well as pay for your dinner! Tsubaki’s only going to treat those that has hit Lvl 100 that day! 9xs, you have 1 more day to hit Lvl 100 to redeem a free dinner!

I apologize for not being able to post this earlier, I was too busy grinding like crazy to take full advantage of the perks raked in from the trial war. But nevertheless, here’s the round up for last night’s war:

I am pleased to announced that we captured 8 colonies in yesterday’s trial war with just 50 active members. This makes us the only faction in the whole of Granado Espada to own this many colonies. Great job everyone! I am so proud of each and everyone of you. I want to thank all 4 Squad Captains (RavaNa, Voyage, Grimmway and Kuchiki) for leading their squads so effectively, as well as each and every Yakisoba member for taking this trial war seriously, even though we know it will be wiped the following day.

Our trainings and plannings has really paid off and we could see the extend of it in this war. It is unfortunate that we were unable to declare war on our factions because of a bug, but still, who’s complaining with the extra 12 hours of 55% HP boost from our Colonies. We were the thickest noodles around! Did I mention how my Scout was as thick as Claude? Hahah.

Also after the war, we had our first guild shoot at the beautiful Katovic Snowfield (misnamed on the map as El Tierra Blanco). That place is so beautiful and the music is fantastically haunting (I blame Andre for my sudden use of the the word fantastic). Unfortunately, my graphic settings were all on low when I took the screenies. I’m requesting for all members to post your screenshots on our forum! Especially those with max setting!

Anyway, I can’t wait for the real war to start. This trial war only show a fraction of what Yakisoba is capable of pulling off. When the real war start, we won’t be holding back. Yakisoba banzai! ヤキソババンザイ！

I’ve locked the old one because I’m changing the format of how you will post your levels. As for our recruits, kindly use this thread here to post your levels.

I will need your levels ASAP so I can assign you to a squad. We will not be using the original plan for war, kindly take note since this war is only a trial, we will be going with a slightly modified plan which can be found here.

Also, all members are expected to be online by 7pm to prepare up for the war. Please make sure you are adequately stocked, and also connected to Teamspeak by then. There will be also be a guild briefing at 7.45pm.
